Ariana and Norman went above and beyond to make our trip to Nicaragua informative and fun. I gained a greater appreciation of the history and natural beauty of Nicaragua as well as enjoyed samples of local foods for a very reasonable price.

Nicaragua is an increasingly popular Central American destinations. What motivated you to have a Nicaragua holiday at this time? (as opposed to some other destination?)

We chose Nicaragua as it seemed to be relatively untouched by many tourists. We wanted to explore a country that felt different than home and see the “real country” . We weren’t interested in only seeing tourists the entire time we were there. My friends and I were also interested in doing a lot of hiking and the numerous outdoor opportunities that Nicaragua offered were enticing. Since we only had two weeks to travel we wanted to visit a country that we could travel through easily and see a great deal at a decent price. The flights to Nicaragua were also relatively cheap compared to other Central/South American destinations.

Please comment on the organisation and style of travel offered by Explore Central America.

Arianna did a wonderful job of communicating with us before we left for our trip. She responded promptly to any email questions we had and organized a trip that suited our groups interests perfectly. She met us at the airport and transported us personally to our first destination (Leon). The entire trip was well organized with ample organized time and free time. As this was the first time that any of us in the group had traveled to a Central American country and none of us spoke Spanish, we felt safe traveling with Ariana and Norman and were glad to have all our accommodations and sightseeing excursions booked for us in advance.

The 6 days I spent around Granada and in the Pueblos Blancos were a remarkable and unforgettable experience, all thanks to the experience of your organization.
